The Mid-Island Loop serves the mid-island area of the island along Atlantic Avenue, Surfside Road, Hooper Farm Road, Lower Orange Street, Daves Street, Pleasant Street and into town via Dover Street and Union Street with convenient stops. Park your car at Nantucket Elementary School (Surfside Road), The Muse (Surfside Road) and the Chicken Box (Daves Street). There are many businesses and restaurants located in the mid-island area that can be reached by using the following designated stops: Hooper Farm Road/Sparks Avenue, Milestone Lane, Orange Street/Landmark House, Daves Street, and Freedom Square. To catch the Sconset Routes, Miacomet Loop, Airport Route or Surfside Beach Route, get off at Daves Street, walk down Daves Street to the Orange Street/Landmark House stop. The Mid-Island Route Shuttle leaves town from Salem Street (at the Corner of Washington Street, approximately 1/2 block from Main Street).
