Public Notice Disadvantaged Business Enterprise
The Nantucket Regional Transit Authority (NRTA) has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program (DBE Program) in accordance with regulations of the U. S. Department of Transportation (DOT), 49 CFR Part 26. The NRTA intends to submit to the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) a program goal of 4% for DBE participation in NRTA contract activities for FFY 2009. The purpose of this notice is to afford the general public and the contracting community an opportunity to comment on the program goal. The NRTA DBE program goal may be reviewed for 45 days following publication of this notice at the NRTA Administrative Offices, 3 East Chestnut Street, Nantucket, MA 02554, (508) 325-9571. Comments must be submitted in writing to: Paula Leary, NRTA Administrator, 3 East Chestnut Street, Nantucket, MA 02554, no later than 4:00 p.m. June 16, 2008.
