 For your safety and convenience, NRTA has designated Shuttle stops along all Shuttle loops and routes. Drivers stop ONLY at designated stops. Stops are identified by grey posts with red and maroon stripes. To catch the Shuttle please stand at the shuttle stop sign and signal the driver by raising your arm as the Shuttle approaches. Make sure you are standing on the appropriate side of the road for catching the Shuttle in the direction you want to go. When you want to get off the bus, signal the driver by pulling the stop cord on all Shuttles. The driver will stop at the next bus stop.All shuttle busses are equipped with automated stop announcement systems.
Park and Ride Lots
For your added convenience, Park and Ride Lots area available along the Miacomet Loop, Mid-Island Loop and Sconset Routes. The following business establishments provide Shuttle parking areas f ree of charge:
- MIACOMET LOOP – Faregrounds Restaurant, 27 Fairgrounds Road (7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
- MIACOMET LOOP – The Muse, 44 Surfside Road
- MIACOMET LOOP – Oddfellows Lodge, 37 Bartlett Road (at Cato Lane)
- MID-ISLAND LOOP – Nantucket Elementary School

- MID-ISLAND LOOP – The Muse, 44 Surfside Road
- MID-ISLAND LOOP – The Chicken Box, Daves Street
- SCONSET ROUTES – The Chicken Box, Daves Street
